Christmas 2026

Christmas is coming, and what a treat we have for you at the Wych. A sumptuous feast awaits, whether it is friends and family or a works do. Set meals from the Christmas menu have to be pre-ordered. We are only open for drinks on Christmas Day, 11am–2pm, and no food is available that day. Write to us and we will come back to you.

Halloween doorstep treats for little monsters. A small, cheerful stop on Elm Road for the evening of the 31st.

Charity quiz night

A cracking evening of six general knowledge rounds. You have fun while fundraising for a local good cause, with a different charity or community venture each month. All entry fees go directly to them. Doors at 7.30pm for an 8pm start, £7.50 a player, teams of up to six. Please pre-register by email. There are prizes.

A regular pop-up wine tasting with a three-course dinner to accompany the wines.

Members

Loyalty card

The loyalty card rewards regulars. Earn points worth 5p in every £1 you spend, and start redeeming once you reach 500 points, which is £5. Members also have 2 for £16 cocktails from 8.30pm Wednesday to Sunday, and the £5 pint from 5pm to 6pm Wednesday to Friday, covering cask and keg beers and a 175ml glass of house white, red or rosé. Further member offers arrive by text, email or a note on your phone. Offers can be amended or withdrawn.
